Strangers in a Strange Land
by Pastor Jim Langley
Sunday, 13 April 2008
Passages:
Acts 2:36-47
As God's people, our mission is to share the story of Jesus so the lives of others can be transformed by an encounter with the risen Christ. Our job is to invite others into the story. We do it by living out the model of being church that we find in the book of Acts. This is what the church today can and should be.
The Sermon of Your Life
by Pastor Jim Langley
Sunday, 06 April 2008
Passages:
Acts 2:14
Every Christian is called to preach a sermon with his or her life. It isn't one we hear, but one we see. It's a sermon we preach by how we live. If we do things that dishonor God, it preaches a sermon. If we do things that honor God, it preaches a sermon. The question is: what sermon will you preach?

Luke 22:14-20
A sermon for Maundy Thursday about the importance of the Lord's Supper and the fact that when we receive communion we have our spiritual hunger satisfied, we discover hope for the future, and we renew our faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
What's Really Important
by Pastor Jim Langley
Sunday, 09 March 2008
Passages:
Philippians 3:4-14
What's really important in your life? For some, it's money, power, fame, and glory. For the Apostle Paul, it was Jesus Christ. Paul gave up everything to follow Jesus and proclaim Jesus' good news. What would it take for you to do the same? What would it take for you to count everything as a loss except for a relationship with Jesus Christ? Because that's what's really important!
