Four times per year, Westminster collects special offerings, along with other PCUSA churches. These funds go for various efforts nationwide and around the world. The Peace and Global Witness offering is currently being collected for peacemaking and reconciliation programs. Typically this collection is dedicated on World Communion Sunday, which is on Oct. 1.
