Who We Are: 

Westminster Presbyterian Church is a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in the Presbytery of East Iowa.  Located in Cedar Rapids, our congregation is made up of about 175 members, covering multiple backgrounds and generations.  We are a leader in providing ongoing food for the hungry through the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry,  We partner with startup congregations in need of a place to worship. On Sunday mornings, we worship at 10 a.m. in our historic Sanctuary in a service that combines traditional with more contemporary music.

Job Skills:

Westminster Presbyterian Church is looking for someone to perform Office Management/Administrative Assistant duties. Successful candidate will be

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Familiar with and able to learn database management.

  • Able to use or learn Constant Contact for group e-mails.

  • Be able to write weekly announcements and bulletins for Sunday service (templates provided).

 

​Other Information:

  • This is a part time position – estimated at 20 hours each week, year round, no benefits.  Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday.  No Fridays as the office is closed.

  • Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
